Moosewood recipes?

I have a Moosewood cookbook and I have not tried very many recipes. What are your favorites?? I did make the focaccia and it was really good with the lentil soup.

It says "The New Moosewood Cookbook". Would you recommend the ones you have?

I don't know I have made a small handful of dishes from both of them, but always liked what I'd made, so I was hoping someone would have the same books and we could do a Moosewood Cook-Along and try some new recipes.

I purchased Sundays at Moosewood but the other one was given to me as a gift, so I haven't perused it as much as the other. Let me check it later this afternoon and see if the one you have and the ones I have overlap. I'll also (hopefully) be able to find the few recipes we've tried. I generally try to pencil in the date we tried something and if we liked it so I don't have Groundhog cooking experiences.

I have Moosewood Cookbook
(ISBN 0898154901)

And have never made one thing. I don't even know how I came to own it. I'd love to get involved in a Moosewood support group or something, ha. Or a cook-along. That sounds great.

One of my Moosewoods is a bit of a mystery, as well, to how I came to own it. We had a party at our home the day before our wedding, and my mom distinctly remembers seeing someone carrying a wrapped package, but cannot remember who it was. Then the wrapped cookbook showed up on my kitchen counter that night when we were cleaning up. No card. No idea who it was. I'm totally serious, I was Moosewood bombed and I have no idea by whom.

The other one I purchased at a bookstore with my own two hands so the provenance is known.

Is that anything like being Rickrolled? bwahaha.

I found this interesting link about Moosewood and their cookbook dynasty:

This link used to be called Moosewood Cookbooks but it's really a Rickroll and you shouldn't click it

Seriously, though, I'm going to pick a meal from my Moosewood Cookbook and cook it. I just have to find one. I'll post the one I'm going to try.
