Teething Necklaces Helpful for babywearing?

My little one has started to grab and scratch while I'm wearing and nursing her. Do you find those teething necklaces helpful to occupy your baby while wearing him/her? Which types do you like best? crochet and wood, silicone, amber, simple ring, or others? I've seen so many cute ones made by local crafters.

I have two silicone ones a friend gave me. My son loves them! One is a pendant style, but sometimes he is enamored by the string and not the pendant. The other is like a string of chunky beads and sometimes the beads get caught on my hair. I wear them when we go out. My so is eight months old and it is nice to always have a teething "ring" available!
