The aplix on these is STRONG. I struggle just undo it from the laundry tabs. I like my velcro haven't tried snaps but I plan too.

I am 100% snaps... why? because I don't like the sound of hook and loop, and I really don't like maintaining it in the laundry... it has absolutely nothing to do with the function of one over the other, and 100% to do with my laundry preferences.

Totally agree This is why we changed to all snaps last summer, the velcro was so annoying when babywearing

We just got a mandarin shell in velcro from a friend to try out, I love it! We have a padfolded flat inside and it's nice and trim. I think I don't mind the velcro, but on the shells with patterns I don't like how the velcro looks (especially the bicycles!) so maybe I will get a couple more and keep the solid colours velcro and any patterns with snaps!

I "think" I am a grovia convert I have 4 shells and have been using them all weekend with flip flats. I also have some bio-soakers. I really like the shell. Love the mesh liner!! I ordered the Part time pack with stay dry soakers and they should be here tomorrow!! I can't wait!

You all should get commission. I just bought a cloud velcro grovia shell because of the threads on diaperswappers. Hope I love it for padfolded flats.
