Does anyone have an Instep Tandem Jogger? Do you like it?

Does anyone have this stroller?

http://www.walmart.com/ip/19852928?w...l5=pla&veh=sem

If so, what do you think of it? How old & big are the kids that fit in it?

I have a almost 5 year old, a just turned 2 yo, and am due with #3 in September. I currently have an older side by side double jogger that I picked up at a yard sale last year. It is usable, but showing a lot of wear and can be hard to manage because it is so wide. I would love to get a Mountain Buggy or Baby Jogger inline double stroller, but can't justify the cost. Would this be a good substitute?

I walk frequently and plan to more so next fall when my oldest starts school and we will be walking there daily.

Thanks.

I do. I use it for my 3 year old (26 lbs and 37 in. tall) and 18 mo. old (23 lbs. and 34 in. tall). My 3 year old (and 18 mo old) still has room to grow in it. When ds was still in an infant carrier, the carrier fit great in the back seat of the stroller. I love that's it's just as narrow as a single stroller so it can fit through anything! I don't have anything to compare it to because I've never owned any other joggers, but I really like it. I think it's definitely worth the price. It's such a smooth ride, and it folds up smaller than other double strollers. I definitely recommend it especially since you don't want to pay the price of a more expensive jogger. So unless you can find a good deal on craigslist or something on a used nicer stroller, this one is a good deal.

Thank you so much for the response. It is so tough trying to decide when I can't see or try one out in person.

If you don't mind a few more questions, is the headroom the same on both of the seats? Can either of your kids ride in either seat? Some of the reviews I have seen online suggest that the front seat is more limited in height. Also, are there shocks on the rear wheels? I can't tell from the pictures and descriptions online and this is one feature I really like with our current stroller.

Thanks again.

Haha. That is the site I am looking at. I have never ordered from there before, but it seems like it would be worth a try.

The back definitely has more headroom, but they can fit in both seats. I can't check at the moment about the shocks, but i'll look in a bit. That price on nobetterdeal.com is awesome!

I don't have that one but have had/have 3 different instep jogger products and love all of them

Had a side by side double that was heavily used by me and my friend (we rotate as we have kids) for 6 years and still looked/worked amazing. When I stopped using it my boys were a combined weight of 70+ pounds and I could still easily push/jog with it

I have a single instep that again has been heavily used by me and my friend for 6 years and same thing--help up great

I have an instep bike trailer. Not used as much but I do love it and the boys liked riding in it.

For what it's worth, that site had some really good deals on side by side Instep double strollers too. I think they ranged from $90-$115, which is pretty cheap for those.

I would probably consider one of those if I wasn't interested in something narrower and not wanting to have a toddler right next to an expected newbie. The side by side has been great for my girls for the last year.
