Slim shorts

Do they make slim shorts for kids? I mean actual slim shorts? We finally got dd into pants that fit nicely because they are adjustable waist and slims. Now its time for new shorts. I just got rid of my 5 year olds 2T shorts because while they still fit her in the waist they are daisy dukes in length. I found some adjustable waist shorts but not in slim. They balloon out around her. Kohls has some reg size 4 and 5 Bermuda shorts that aren't too bad. they have the cotton waist band thing on them, but if they were shorter they would fall off her after running around (she had a skirt do that last week). The regular length shorts were way too big, but she wants some. Any ideas?

Jcpenney used to make girls slims. If you order from the website, old navy has a special slim selection on girls clothes.

It sounds like you tried, but we have had luck with a smaller size of the longer, knee length shorts. DD is wearing 4t-5t pants (leggings and elastic waist only) but 24 month shorts and they for great. I know how frustrating this is! Good luck!!

Yes! And they are nice. My daughter is 5 and can fit 2t as well. I found tcp skimmer shorts last year and they're great on her.

Re: Slim shorts

JCPenney and Children's Place both have slims, and they are true slims too. TCP doesn't do all of their styles in slims and I *think* they have to be ordered online. I found slims in store at JCPenney though for DD, and there were more styles available in slim as well.
