perfect dipe for my SIL (convenience important!)?

Hi

OK I've been slowly convincing my SIL to use cloth . She is really interested but worried about the 'hassle', although I got major points for pointing out less trips to the garbage outside and less trips hauling diapers from the store.

So, I'm thinking that the diaper that is the very least hassle might be an AI2.

Do you agree?

Does anyone know of any AI2s that fit well at birth?

I am REALLY hoping that she says yes, gives me a budget and lets me shops for her

Yeah pocket or AI2 is probably best, although most people I know use PFs at birth... just those I know though.

There's AIOs also...

I have just started making newborn sized AI2's. I got some great fb and was going to cut and add some with my next stocking, I have a newborn fitted on my site right now.

Yep. I'd say AI2's are the easiest. Daisy doodles has some uber small ones...

Re: perfect dipe for my SIL (convenience important!)?

I talked my sister in too using cloth and she wanted a all in one diaper. I told her to use pockets as they are just as easy. (I think so) So, she paid and I bought her pockets, all in one, one size, and covers. Her fav diaper is the one size BG. I did reasearch on the all in one and got two daisy doodle and she didn't like them. I used them on Connor (her son) and I didn't really like them. I think BG would be the way to go. One size and it wouldn't scare her with all the snaps Mother's Touch has too many snaps. I like snaps and I'm a little scared of getting one. Hope that helps.

I think a true AIO would be simple too - no soaker or doubler to worry about matching if they came unsnapped in the wash.

if it's convenience. I'd DEF say AI2 over pockets. With pockets she has to worry about potential buildup. Let her get confident with cloth before tossing all that at her.

prefolds did NOT work for us at birth. He was such a flooder he SOAKED through the front and coming through the cover in 30-45min. We used kissaluv 0s and covers, but that might overwhelm her with a two step change.

I'd have to recommend the All-together AIO. Cheap and easy, although not the cutest things in the world

although i haven't used them yet i have some qleros aio's, although after reading up on aio's these are really a ai2 lol. but they are tiny (nb size) and seem very well put together. negrapy on here has used and loves them. found them on ebay. i'd have to say ai2 over aio though for the quick drying time if that's an issue with your sil.
