cramping in early pregnancy?

I just got my BFP today and I have been having light cramping since at least the 10th. I thought in the beginning that AF was about to start because the cramps feel like the ones I get on my first day of my period and it was supposed to come on the 6th. But they've been happening for a week now with no sign of AF so that's why I took a test. Is the cramping a normal symptom? I'm kind of worried right now.

I think it is normal. I had a lot of cramping with my DS but didn't notice as much with this pregnancy. It is very common and nothing to worry about unless you are bleeding too.

Ok, thank you. No bleeding here so we're ok. Just having a little digestive problems though.

Thanks for your help. I hope mine don't last the whole pregnancy though.

it is your uterus growing/stretching/preparing, most likely. so don't be surprised if it does. a warm bath would help mine.

Totally normal to cramp in early pregnancy. But it could also be the digestive issues causing the cramping. I can't tell the two apart. My ob said a lot of that cramping can be intestinal stuff.

I agree that gas, constipation, etc can definitely cause cramping.
