Re: Basic Monday!

Morning all.

I slept late. MH is still asleep. Jerry is headed out soon to MIL so he can be back early.

I have meal planned and made a list for the few things we need. I will take MH with me to do that then she and I will come home and make potato salad and cut up veggies and make burger buns for the mushroom burgers...yum!

I had Derry at home this morning, she played on her tablet and then she went to play Opa when I went to work

Work was okay. 4 full pallets and 1 freezer moved around.

One of the coworkers was a PITA when she totally blocked access to the paper-press, she seemed think it would okay. But it's not. I have to clear the rubbish and I need to get to the paper-press to do that. When she's in the way I have to stop working to help her move her stuff... But she shouldn't have been there in the first place!

Oh well, I'm glad I don't have to deal with it all day every day... I'm sure I'd explode!

Re: Basic Monday!

Happy Memorial Day! It is clear but a little cool here. We went out to buy an adult bike, because we have not had one of our own ever, and got home to discover Rosie is really too tall for her 16" bike now. Even though she still hasn't learned to ride without training wheels. So we will get a 20", even though she is almost too big for that, but get a GN one so the other two can use it too. My guess if she actually learns how to do it we will have to get a 24" before the summer ends.

We are home from shopping. While unpacking groceries I dropped a can of diet coke on my foot and it hurts like a mofu.

It's funny how the kids learn these things. Shannon was much older than Derry and Cami was even younger, she was only 4.5 years old when she learnt. Fynn can ride with training wheels already.

Pics of your bike?

We had pancakes and fruit for dinner...now we're trying to get the kids to tidy their room before bedtime story.

Re: Basic Monday!

Jen, I totally sympathize. My toe is technicolor today. I got a bunch of melons, pumpkin and squash planted. I need to plant soup and kidney beans, DH is planting a tray of peppers, some tomatoes that came up out of nowhere and then the gooseberries and wonderberries. Then all will be planted and we can do the fun stuff, like weed
DH bought my BIL's dad's old Dodge Omni for driving back and forth to work. It is pristine and only has 80k miles on it
