My ds just came home and asked me to send watermelon for their party too ugh. Since he's going to have to take it in on the bus I told him I'll do orange slices instead. Im going to put them in ziplock in his backpack I figure it will be easier!

Sorry to break out my Literary Device Dictionary, but fruit skewering is a really awesome example of assonance, maybe. It's not the exact vowel sounds, but it sounds snappy, like the alliterative Sooth Saying.

And yes, usually if I need a bit of fun, I post threads to the wrong forum just to get a rise out of people.

Thank you Kat. It was actually my husband's Father's Day present. It was a great idea that I'm sure I got from someone else, but I'm glad it came out as well as it did.
