Yes, all my girls were named by 20 weeks (first names). My son wasn't named until birth but we had 2 names to choose from and just wanted to see him first.

Yes, all our kids had names before delivery and that's what we used. DS1 and DS2 we had a girl name and a boy name picked even before the u/s. DS3, same girl name from DS2 plus a boy name. I ended up changing my mind completely about his name a few weeks before he was born. This baby the girl name was super easy because we've had it picked since DS2. We still can't agree on a boy name, so hopefully she doesn't sprout a penis before our next ultrasound

Re: Do your babies get fully named in utero?

All 3 of mine were fully named before being conceived! DS1 and DD's first names were picked out by me and my husband before we were even a couple.

My first two were named in utero. DS was named as soon as we found out he was a boy, and we shared his name with everyone right away too. DD wasn't named until after my due date, lol, but we had no intention of sharing her name before birth, even if we had figured one out earlier. We were open to changing either of their names if they didn't seem to fit, but it wasn't an issue in the end.

Now, this kid might be a different story. I'm 32 weeks now, and we've barely even talked about names. Add that to the fact that we stayed team green and we just might end up with a nameless newborn this time.

My first two were names before they were born but my third was a different story. He came 5 weeks early and didn't have a name for close to five days after he was born. The nurses thought it was funny that he didn't have a name for so long given we had known he was a boy since 16 weeks. It all works out in the end.

Both of my kids were fully named before birth. In my 30 something week usually.
We don't have a name for #3 yet. Hopefully soon.

I only have one, but she was fully named not long after my 20 week u/s. I liked having her named as I felt like it gave me more of a connection to her before she was born. However, this also gave everyone free reign to make comments on the name. It didn't make me change my mind or even doubt my decisions but it was annoying.

Now DH and I are planning to TTC soon. We've been throwing names around for the last couple of months and are pretty set on what we like for both boy and girl. Our intention is to stay team green, have a boy name and a girl name "set in stone", but not share it with anyone. We'll have a hospital birth, let DD come back to see baby first, tell her the name and sex, and let her tell the grandparents.

If you can't tell, we're a little excited. Just waiting to get settled into our new house (I'm painting today, moving in furniture Saturday) and then let the BD begin!

Not necessarily. DD1 was named when we were teens and dating...long before she was conceived. DD2 we were team green with and went to the hospital with a full boy name and zero ideas for a girl
