Its hard to tell in pictures, but behind the board type thing is where the seat belt goes.



There is no harness for the parkway, its just a belt possitioning booster

THe way it buckles in is very similar to the way many other carseats buckle in... the only bummer is that if the large peice of your seat belt needs to be behind the child's back in order to tighten it, then it will be under the fabric & may be uncomfortable! & because the slots that the seatbelt go in are just two holes in the back plastic, not a passage way like many other seats, its hard to get tight in the car! I think the purpose of these seats is to use in taxis or in emergencies... I'd prolly go with a standard seat (the best in your price range) for your main seat in your main car, but this would be better then nothing, (if you are able to get it in the car tightly)... we had one and it did not seem safe at all. even tightened as tight as DH could get it, it still flopped forward. It was scary to use

It looks like those built-in seats you can get in some vans, kwim?

Probably a very narrow window of sizes can fit it. It says adjustable shoulder straps, but it looks like the height of them can't be moved up and down, so it'll only fit from about an inch below the straps until they are even with the straps, right?
