Sweedish Meatballs
I just made myself a Lean Cuisine Sweedish Meatballs meal for lunch and dd ate almost the whole thing. So can someone share a recipe so I can make it for her sometime?

Re: Sweedish Meatballs
The way I make them is just make the meatball dough the same way you would make regular meatballs (ground meat, egg, breadcrumbs, grated parm cheese, seasoning) then form the balls with a melon baller and add them to a hot skillet with some olive oil in it. cook till cooked through. Then I mix them with some alfredo sauce with sauteed mushrooms added and toss the whole thing with egg noodles (but you can use whatever sauce and noodles you want)

Re: Sweedish Meatballs
Do you have an Ikea nearby? They sell the giant freezer bags and they have the best IMO ;-)

Re: Sweedish Meatballs
I know this is cheating
but McCormack's has a seasoning pkt that is really good; one side is seasoning for the meat and the other for the sauce. It's super easy, atleast (esp cause we buy a huge bag of meatballs at GFS for $7--and it lasts for about 5 meals).

Re: Sweedish Meatballs
I use ALton Brown's recipe from Foodnetwork.com - my kids LOVE them! I freeze a big batch and have them if i need a quick lunch for them.

IKEA Meatballs are the best, but I live 3 hours away.
