You should if you use interfacing, it's listed in the notions.

I think she used the same piece for the collar as the interfacing, wether it counts as an 1/8 of a yard or a notion for being a scrap, it is the same point value either way, so either or is fine, in my opinion.

Stevensmom,
If you use interfacing definitely count it, it's a notion! It's in there!

Eh, I am not worried about an extra point or not. Honestly, I figured that the two pieces I used for the blue underside and the red top aren't exactly a half a yard so I just figured the little bit of yellow would be a good bit to just round it up.

Re: July Use Your Stash Game: Chat and Picture thread

Just about finished Jeremiah's shorts, had to rip out the second leg because I didn't like how it was pooling, the other leg is swirled and it would look odd if the second one was just pooled. I just need to do the leg cuffs on the soaker too.

Question: If I make wool dryer balls how do I count the used yardage of yarn? I know I don't count the time, but should I count the yarn since it's from my stash?

I don't do anything with yarn so I'm not positive, but it sure seems like you should. After all, I could get points for throwing or giving fabric away, so if you're using yarn up for something it seems like it should count.

That's what I was thinking... and I was thinking the best way would be to count it like I got rid of it...

Re: July Use Your Stash Game: Chat and Picture thread

I finished my first project -- used about 1/3 of a cotton skein and made a pretty little Tunisian Stitch washcloth. I'll have to get a pic and calculate my points later today.

Progress on goal #1!

Re: July Use Your Stash Game: Chat and Picture thread

This is the washcloth I finished yesterday. It's Tunisian crochet so it took me longer than usual.

3 hours crocheting X 2 points per hour = 6
+2 for small FO
about 1/3 skein used +1 (I think?)

+9 points

EDIT: Still trying to figure out this picture thing. Gah!
