Name spelling help!

Dd2 (in my belly) is Lakin Elyse. I met a little boy today named Layken. Now I'm second guessing how we will spell her name!

Should it be Lakin or Laykin? I think the "I" is more feminine than the "e".
What do y'all think?

I'd go with Lakin. No need to add extra letters.

I thought a Y makes the name feminine? I have never heard of lakin, but I'd go with less letters.

Yep this. Being a teacher I would think to pronounce it that way. With general public you would get it even more. Laykin would be a better choice. Or what about Laikyn...I think this looks more feminine.
