Toddler lunch ideas?

My twins are 19 months. I feel like they eat the same things. I'm just looking for new ideas to pack them for lunch.

Re: Toddler lunch ideas?

my toddler likes peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, tuna or chicken salad sandwiches, crackers with peanut butter, today she's been eating apples.

Re: Toddler lunch ideas?

you're saying pack for them, so I'm assuming stuff that can be eaten cold?

My daughter can't have gluten, and doesn't really like breads or crackers, so this is what she eats for lunch on the go:

hard-boiled eggs, cheese, grapes, raisins, apples, bananas, oranges, yogurt, deli meat (or left over chicken), beans (like pork'n'beans, or bean salad, etc.), carrots, broccoli, cucumber, hummus, fruit leathers, cold (gf) pasta with olive oil and parmesan, cashews.

Probably other stuff, but that's off the top of my head. I just put together a little plate with a protein, a starch, and a veg/fruit. I always have some cooked pasta in the fridge, and eggs hard-boiled ahead of time.

Peanut butter and jelly , peanut butter and crackers, peanut butter and graham crackers, cheese and crackers, lunch meat and cheese, hummus and pretzels, cereal bars and yogurt. Those are our staples to send with dd for day care.

Ugh- I wish I had the ease of prepping lunches like you all do! :/ ds2 has multiple food allergies. He exists on rice & chicken. Sometimes I wrap the rice in seaweed (hubby's korean & we like it) or do fruits with a lunchmeat. Most crackers are out, can't do dairy, ect. Our meals lack any kind of creativity or newness. :/

My DS loves pulled pork, poached chicken, salads, hard boiled eggs, ham, tacos, quesadillas, and lasagna.

He's not really a sandwich kid but asks for sandwiches and then just eats all the insides. We finally started just piling up the insides on a plate and skipping the bread for him.

He loves stuff to dip in homemade Italian dressing. He would live on cucumber, green pepper, tomatoes, carrot sticks, and olives if we would let him.
