I just weaned Zoe 3 days ago. I took a month and slowly weaned her. She was only nursing 2-3 times the last two weeks. I'm starting to feel alittle full today and wondered if cabbage leaves would help? I remember using them with ds. He weaned suddenly in 2 days, but didn't really remember if it worked or not.

I do remember being very full and miserable when I weaned him! Thanks a bunch!!!

Yes, cabbage leaves helped me a lot when I weaned both of my boys...
(and they are cheap - its worth a try!)

I've not tried it, but I think it can't hurt. Congrats on your big girl!

Can you give more information on how to use the cabbage leaves ?
I have to wean in the next two weeks

. I`m going back to work early July and I`ll be taking meds that aren`t compatible with nursing.
I`m really having a hard time to follow a weaning schedule at the moment, so I know I`ll be dealing with engorgement pretty soon.

I just put a cold piece in each side of my bra and replace after it wilts. Big help and I don't think I'm going to have to even pump for relief! Yay!
