GMD small or large flat?

I am going out of town with the kids for two weeks. I have 2 in diapers so planning to take flats. I am thinking to get an extra half dozen. I have a couple GMD large flats which I love but I have no idea what the smalls are like. I usually do folds because I use wool most of the time but I thought it might be better to buy some smalls for pad folding or as doublers.HOwever, i do love the large. What do you guys think?

Re: GMD small or large flat?

How old are the kids?
I like big flats, esp for pinning/snappying. If both are older than 6mo Id probably just get larges. I used 29x29 flats on ds1 starting from before he was 6mo hes a big lid and they only had slight bulkiness for a 2 konths or so as he grew

One is 2 1/2 the other is 8 months. I love the large ones too but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something since I don't own any of the smalls.

If you are doing folds get the larges. Smalls are great for little babies and pad folding.
