Anyone tried Anita nursing bras?

I am a 36D (leaning on the edge of DD) right now. With my Ds I went up from a 34B prepregnancy, to a 36C during and 34DD right after then as I evened out I was a 34C/D while BFing. After I stopped BFing I stayed at a 34-C. I didn't know that they made nursing bras after I had Ds so I never bought any! I was only able to BF for a few months total due to working and the environment there.

Here I am due in December and shot up to a 36D/DD. I'm going to say I think I'll probably stay in the 34D-DD while BFing this time after things even out. I am wondering if anyone has tried the Anita nursing bras?? I can't find any that I like a lot but I LOVE anita's non-nursing bras and it's the only one I wear comfortably. I just found on amazon that they have nursing bras too that look and are made almost the same as my non-nursing ones.

I plan to BF for a year with this one and I'm hoping to have more kids after that, so what do you think? Anyone tried these? Since I like their non-nursing, should I try out their nursing ones too? Mostly just looking for advice and wwyd as far as going ahead with purchasing.

NEVER buy nursing bras until your baby is born and you're about 6 weeks out. In the interim, consider a flexible size bra like cantaloop that fits multiple sizes. That way you don't spend money on bras that simply won't fit.

I did not like the Anita nursing bras, but I like more flexibility in my bras (that's my personal preference). That said, if you like their regular bras, the nursing bras will be just fine.

Places to buy larger size nursing bras:
cake brand has some very beautiful selections.

If you're any good with a sewing machine, you won't have to limit yourself to nursing bras. Just buy nursing clips and put them in yourself.

I agree with waiting to buy the bras until after your milk regulates. Also I highly recommend getting a professional fitting. There is an amazing difference in a properly fitted nursing bra!
I have 3 Anita Nursing Bra's. The 5035 style is my favorite comfort wise, the only con is that it is not lined. I have tried a couple other brands in 3 years of non-stop nursing and Anita is by far my favorite and we are just about the same size.
Also if you do decide to get a professional fitting, you can always buy one from that shop but try on a couple other styles and then order more online cheaper.

Re: Anyone tried Anita nursing bras?

I had an Anita nursing bra last time around and I am thinking it will fit again this time.
I was a 34DDD/E and only found a few bras I liked with underwire. The Anita brand fit nicely, was comfortable and held up for our year of nursing and will still be usable for at least a while once this baby is born.

Re: Anyone tried Anita nursing bras?

I've been wearing Anita's since April 2011. (The same ones! They've held up through nursing 1 baby and through a pg and now nursing the 2nd baby!) I LOVE them. I need to get a few more because the cup is a little bit stretched out. But still wearable.

I am happy they aren't lined because they dry super fast, and the ones I tried to wear that were lined kept my nips all moist. Yucky. And the lined ones smelled like spoiled milk really fast. The Anita bras don't.

Anita was the only nursing bra I could find that actually supported my 36h's :/. Specifically the 5035
