brown spotting at 6w 4 days....immediate call to dr? wait and see?

Im having some brown, ewcm consistency spotting. Enough to be on my undies and take several swipes to wipe away. No pain, cramping, etc... Its very similar to what I get the day before my period starts.

I cant decide if I should call my midwife or wait and see. I know brown spotting without pain is usually normal and not indicative of a miscarriage, but I cant help but worry.

This is my 4th pregnancy but I have never spotted before. We have been trying for over a year for this baby, and im worried I may be losing it. WWYD?

I wouldn't worry about brown or pink spotting. I've had it with all three of my pregnancies and have not had a miscarriage.

Personally, I would call just to get reassurance. Sounds normal to me though.

I am 6 w 5 d today and had a scheduled appointment this morning - have been having some light spotting as well - mine has mostly been pink. My midwife today said as long as it isn't bright red and soaking, that it is usually fine. She even said that sometimes bright red isn't a definite problem.
But...if it would give you peace of mind, I say go ahead and call. Early pregnancy can be so scary!

I that with this pregnancy for the first time in 6 pregnancies! The Doc could not find a reason for it. That was until I went to my 12 week NT scan and they found a pocket of blood sitting on my cervix. I only had spotting in my 6th and 7th week tho.

I would call for a progesterone check. That's something they can fix. If it's a true m/c, then there isn't anything you can do.
I've had red bleeding in 2 of my pregnancies, and went on to carry full term.
