I've used Aveeno and a cloth wipe as a barrier when CJs or coconut oil weren't cutting it.

Re: diaper cream NOT COCONUT OIL :)

My kids seem to have a really hard time adjusting to their own poop the first 2 weeks of life, and I used A&D (not CD safe) but also, Earth Mama Angel Baby butt balm (I think that's the name). I put it after every change. Didn't get a rash with the last kid, so I'm hoping it was the cream that did the trick!

It isn't on his booty at all. It is up by his pubic bone. Just small little raised bumps. Has anyone used bee green naturals diaper cream? I think I'm going to try grandma el since it was mentioned 3 times

Does any put Grandma El's on regularly as a preventative or just as needed?

The not coconut oil made me giggle.

I second the poop comment. It can just be hard on new skin.

This was the only thing that worked for us. It was a miracle.

Maybe try powder then? Could be heat rash - my baby gets it up there too and we just use powder (caldescene baby but there are other safe brands too)

Ruh roh, that's what DS had when we used rockin green and the diapers weren't clean enough :-(. The only solution was chlorine bleach + tide.
