Night Terrors

My poor little four month old is having night terrors...I'm not sure what to do when he has these, do I wake him up? The pediatrician didn't provide much guidance.

Re: Night Terrors

Ped will probably tell you it's not possible for a kiddo that young to have night terrors. DD was about 13mos when hers started. For her, it mostly had to do with her sleep schedule/cycles being off, & gently rousing her before we went to bed helped. She really grew out of them...geeze, by 2.5, I guess.

There's usually a thread about night terrors every 6 mos or so--they're searchable & have good information from other people besides me.

But when you say night terrors, what do they look like for your little guy...how many times a night, how long do the episodes last, etc.? I ask only b/c we thought DD was having them at that same age, but it was really gut pain from some food sensitivities.
