It took me until DS1 was 2 to even get him to use a blanket. So whenever they're ready, just try and see is what I say.

We never use flat top sheets.

Makes extra laundry and it never gets that cold here. So we have fitted sheets and comforters and pillows.

Re: When to start using bed sheets?

We put bedsheets on as soon as they start using the bed. I didn't know anyone didn't put sheets on a bed being slept in?

I am guessing she means top sheets. There are 2 sheets in a pack. The fitted speed goes on the mattress and the top sheet goes over the person laying on the fitted sheet. Lol

I know very few people who use top sheets. But I am assuming almost everyone uses a fitted sheet.

or use them for dress material I hate flat sheets. But if we used them if have no trouble using them on a toddler.

Re: When to start using bed sheets?

I don't use a flat sheet on my daughter's bed since it gets kicked to the foot anyway, but she uses a blanket without issues.

We use flat sheets and a quilt when we move to a toddler bed.

Yes I meant flat sheet and twin sized blanket or comforter.

Re: When to start using bed flat sheet and blankets?

My kids hate using a top sheet so i just do a fitted sheet and they use their comforter or a blanket to cover up. It also makes doing laundry and making the bed much easier. We simple folk here.
