4 1/2 and 60%, after 6 hours of 3-4 min apart contractions which stopped again the doc on call doesn't think I'll make it past 39 weeks but I'm seriously hoping for this weekend.

4 cms for me is when my body kicks into active labor. My water tends to break between 4-5
Cm.
However my body does ANY dilating
until its almost go time and at 4 cms starts giving me signs it's about that time.

No, doc appointment in the morning praying I've thinned out more, I've been taking epo to try and help it along

She wouldn't check me today. Told me it would just drive me batty. I'm going in for another appointment on Monday, although I'm praying the full moon will work its magic

Re: How long were you 4cm dilated?

With my oldest I was 4.5cm 100% effaced at 35 weeks and she was born at 40+4weeks.

I never knew what I was with my youngest daughter, and I was 3cm at 36 weeks with the twins and they were born at 37 weeks.

Yeah I'm still stuck at 4.5 apparently dilation means nothing for me, nothing has helped thin me out at all (dtd and epo)

Mere minutes.

But my friend was an 8 for two weeks. Dilation doesn't say anything about how long you'll go.
