Is this possible?

DD3 is almost 5mo, EBF. Until a couple of days ago I felt i had enough milk, but not anymore. I keep nursing but feel my breasts empty. She seems more fussy than before, knowing she is the best baby I ever knew! I tried all the basics of building up supply but it doesn't seem to work.
I have two other kids that are under 4. I don't feel extremely tired. I BF my previous kids until 12mo of age.
So, my question is: could there be such thing as a "no more milk with no reason"?

I also noticed that two days ago she began to refuse bottle (with my pumped milk, I try to give her from time to time so she is used to bottle) and that has been two days now.
Should I be worried about this?

Re: Is this possible?

Are you getting af?
Did you eat something different?
Are you pregnant?
Are you getting enough water?
Is she teething?

I usually go through this checklist

My first thought was this or AF returning. Although, if she is fussing with a bottle too it could be teething or tummy issues.

Thanks for the checklist!

What does af stand for?
I eat as usual, no changes.
I could be pregnant but I take the pill every day.

If the pill failed, yes... But I'm very attentive to taking it every day.

Re: Is this possible?

It could be baby is going through a growth spurt and increasing milk supply. When my kids did this I always felt like I didn't have any milk because I always felt empty.

By 5 months my milk regulated and I did not feel as full as I used to. It could be that. If you really think your supply is dipping then I suggest Reglan or Domperidone. I know that worked for me. I still do not have that full feeling though.

Re: Is this possible?

Ditto what everyone else said, it could be your period (or less likely pregnancy), or it could just be that your supply is regulating and not actually going away.
