Re: 5 month old waking up nearly constantly to feed

If you cosleep, have him sleep between you and the edge of the bed, either against the wall or better yet a mesh siderail. Not your husband, its not a safe way to cosleep.
Is he eating solids at all?

Re: 5 month old waking up nearly constantly to feed

I am so glad you posted this! I was wondering why my 4 1/5 month old was only sleeping a half hour at a time during the day and waking up every two hours at night to nurse. I explained to her that mommy needs her to take long naps so mommy can accomplish things through out the day. She put her foot in her mouth and suckled her big toe. I don't think she respects me. Bhahaha!!!!!

Haha!! This is adorable!! I feel like my almost 8mo old is still doing this :-/ she doesn't nurse much during the day but it feels like she is constantly attached at night. Not sure how to switch those schedules.

My almost 8 month old has never slept through the night. He is exclusively breastfeed and we co-sleep. He eats mostly at night. It's tiring, but I usually just pop a boob in his mouth and we both fall asleep. We use a bed rail and DS always sleeps on my side of the bed away from DH as he is a heavy sleeper and fears he will smother the baby. I know this is normal, but looking forward to an 8 hour sleep again.
