Re: Weekly Chatter for June Banies

I've been SO emotional lately because I'm on another board and there are so many Momma's losing their babies. I know it's going to happen, I know it's a real possibility, but it's so, so, scary to know that there's nothing I (or the doctors) can do about it. I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks before we had my daughter and it was so sad. I try not to think about it but this week has been horrible with losses. I told my husband and he told me if I didn't stop worrying, he was going to ban me from the boards. LOL

My kids have no idea that I will worry about them from the time their conceived until I die!

With previous pregnancies, what's the earliest that any of you have felt the "flutter" movements?

DD1-don't remember It took me a long time to figure out it was baby.
DD2-Around 12-13 weeks
DD3-11 weeks. And DH felt her kick on the outside at 14 weeks! At my first appointment my midwife was having a hard time finding the heart beat, plus her Doppler battery died, so as she was getting another battery, I prayed come on baby move, so I can tel her where you are. And baby moved! When she came back in, I told her I where I felt movement, she looked at me skeptically, but put it there anyway, and immediately got the heartbeat! Was amazing!

I was about 18-20weeks with the first 2 and about 16-18weeks with the second two. I keep feeling little flutters but I think it is more of a phantom type flutter from previous pregnancies.

Re: Weekly Chatter for June Banies

21 weeks with my first (my placenta was in front) and 15-16 weeks with my second. I NEVER feel flutters though, so I don't feel them until they kick.

Re: Weekly Chatter for June Banies

It was at least 18 weeks with my first and 14-16 with my 2nd. I'm anxious to see how soon I can feel them this time around!

HAHAHA! This made me laugh out loud!

DH says mine are huge now, but I can't tell. After 3 kids they're just balloons two weeks after the party anyway. At least he's paying attention
