disposable diapers fitting into a smaller size again? Odd ?

I was wondering if anyone has had a child that went up a size in disposable diapers and then later sized down? DD has a high rise and a round tummy ATM so I had to size her up in diapers. We have an almost full box of the smaller size. I am debating on if I should try and sell them on CL, or save them to see if she will fit in them later. Once she starts crawling and moving around she may slim down. This is one reason I will miss cloth, but I need a break!

I was just thinking about this a few minutes ago. My older daughter has, She went to a 5 and back down to a 4. It happened when she really started walking and running.

DS1 didn't. But he outgrew absorbency faster than size.

My kids got chubby, then thinned out around age 2. We usually went from medium to large settings on BG, and then back to medium settings. So I can see kiddo going back down a size as they get older and loose some of the baby chub.

My kids are no longer in diapers, but somehow, my computer keeps finding its way back here...

Re: disposable diapers fitting into a smaller size again? Odd ?

DS was in a 4 then he could fit in 3 again, at age 2 - a huge shock to me! He was never in 3 before size 4 because he didn't wear a single sposie from 2 weeks to 9 months, so he skipped sizes 2 & 3 in the first place. And now he's out grown 3 again.

The only issue with going down again, so long as you can get the diaper around the kid is poop leaks (never ever have this issue in cloth, but every time he poops in a sposie) and pee leaks from lack of absorbency (less material in a smaller diaper).
