Blog post about pie crusts, with tutorial!

My favorite recipe blog posted this today. I'm so excited!! I avoid making pies because I have not mastered making pie crusts, but this post gives me hope! Everything else I have made from her site turns out well! There are tons of pictures & explanations in this post!

I've never heard of using sour cream in pie crusts, interesting. Grating the butter is novel, but I highly recommend buying a pastry blender, just to avoid the indignity of the melted butter. I like the Oxo. Before I had one I cut the butter very small then worked it mercilessly with a large fork. I imagine a sour cream crust with sugar in it would be very rich, perfect for tart cherry pie.
