It's just us 4. DH, me, ds1 (4) & ds2 (2).

I think I'll do a turkey breast, cranberry sauce, bread/medjool date stuffing, I'm not sure on veggie dishes yet. Maybe just a salad, my kiddos hate veggies, (unless maybe I try a sweet potato casserole w/marshmallows on top.) but if I go the Salad route I'll make them a green smoothie.
Also will make a vegan Pumpkin pie from the Chocolate Covered Katie blog, and maybe some turkey rice crispie treats w/the kids I I can figure out how to decorate them for my food allergic kiddo.

The Thanksgivings of my childhood have included coconut custard pie and I will make one this year. It's probably my favorite thing in the world.

This year Dh and I are staying home with the 2 littles but we are making a huge meal to have leftovers with the big kids over the weekend.
Turkey
Ham
Stuffing
Gravy
Rice
Corn
Green bean casserole
Pineapple casserole (I use Paula Deens recipe)
Cream cheese brownies

I usually do some sort of potato dish but I don't think we will this year

I don't have one. But the issues you can run into with it is that it could shrink, crack or just not set. I have to search around for a recipe that addresses these things. Maybe Cooks Illustrated has one. I have made it successfully before but I can't find the recipe. I'll share it when I find one that looks right.

Re: Thanksgiving menu!

Try the impossible coconut pie. Quick, easy and foolproof.

Re: Thanksgiving menu!

It is just the 4 of us this year (DH, I, ODS (5), YDS (4m)) however we are dairy and soy free. This has limited us a bit but not much. We will be having:

Tell me about it!! I guess my consolation prize is that he is the size of some newborns. Very big newborns, but not unheard of. He is 10 lbs 8 oz.
