I didn't see any latex ones at BRU. Shes taken to the newborn NUK pretty well. It looks more comfortable than the soohies/gumdrump -- the mam has the same shape as the avent which sh doesn't even closer her mouth on. The NUK I can poke the roof of her mouth with to help signal.

Now that ds2 is older hell take the soothie but the first one he took, and still his favorite, is thr gumdrop

We tried avent in the hospital and he couldn't keep it in. Then we tried the tommee tippee. I thought that was our answer but he still wasn't keeping them in well. He has that brand for the first 3 months and then we tried mam brand. He's had those for over a year now and he loved them. We also bf'ed till 15 months with that brand.
