Dry skin??

Is there anything I can put on my breasts to help moisturize them? My whole body is so dry and itchy, and I am afraid to put lotion on my breasts since LO is nursing. I thought about Lansinoh cream for the nipples themselves, but is that actually moisturizing, or is it just a protective barrier? And can I use that on the whole breast as well? Or is there anything else you guys can think of that is safe while nursing? I think my long hot showers are starting to take a toll on my skin. :/

Drink LOTS more water!! First defense. Do you have any coconut oil? You can use that on your skin so you don't have to worry just incase baby gets a teeny bit.
Just in case.

Re: Dry skin??

I used CJ's Spritz 'o Butter on my belly when I was pg & it worked great as a moisturizer & it is safe if ingested, though I would imagin it's not too tasty.

I agree with drinking lots of water. Lansinoh will be find for the nipples. I imagine you can use any other kind of lotion on the rest of your breasts as long as it's not perfumey. Unless you think your little one will suck beyond the nipple.
