Best bottle

My LO is 2 months old and has refused a bottle from about 6 weeks. She was taking a dr brown bottle but now just screams when we offer. Any advice? I'd like her to take a bottle occasionally. She's EBF.

Mine only took Comotomo until very recently, and now will take the Medela slow flow nipple too. He too is EBF and I think the Comotomo nipple shape is good.

Re: Best bottle

DD1 wasn't picky...we had Medela, Born Free, Gerber, & Avent & she took them all w/o problem (started supplementing around 3mos though). We liked the Avent bottles best, so went ahead & bought some before the younger two were born. They've both taken the Avent just fine. One is primarily BF & DP feeding a formula bottle nightly & takes formula or BM from a bottle, the other is EBF & will take BM from the bottle for anyone but me. One benefit of the Avent bottles that I didn't know when we bought them, but the nipples fit the bottles for my pump (Hygeia), so I don't have to transfer milk.

Re: Best bottle

LO refused to use the Dr. Brown bottle we had, but did well on the Avent (4 oz bottles, size 1 nipples, both of those stayed the same throughout pumping).

When my LO started refusing a bottle she had previously taken, a faster flow nipple solved the problem for all 3 girls. We use Tommee Tippee.

We use Tommee Tippee, ds has taken one since about 3 weeks old. Slow flow nipple. Another woman I know uses Playtex Nurser bottles

Re: Best bottle

Our son took the Mam Anticolic bottles great, I think it was the oval nipple shape. He couldn't latch onto Avent nipples because the base was more narrow than the tip, he kept swallowing air.
