Re: Favorite CD safe rash cream

Thanks for posting this question. I wanted to have a jar of something on hand before the baby is born, just in case, but I wanted something safe for the diapers. I like the sound of CJs.

Re: Favorite CD safe rash cream

Has anyone used Burts Bees with good results? I was given a HUGE tube of some and am hoping I can use it. I do also have some california baby cream if not.

Check the ingredients of the California Baby, it may have lavender in it.

We use coconut oil. My kids aren't prone to rashes, but they do get occasional redness, and the coconut oil clears it right up!

I avoid those oils on my kids as well. I like straight lanolin or sunflower oil and castor oil I mix up (3:1). I started adding GSE in it as well for DD who seems to be a bit more rash prone

I got a tube of it as a gift. It has zinc oxcide which generally isn't considered CD safe.
