child throwing up foam regularly??

Hi all,

My 6 year old has thrown up 5 times this am...always foam and bile. She is otherwise fine. She did this once yesterday too...but was fine for the rest of the day. I am confused as she did the a couple of times last week too.... no one else in the family has had any issues? Can a virus act like this? She is not a barfer - so this is very new behaviour

Sounds like mucus drainage. Has she been congested at all?

I agree, sounds like drainage.

Has she said anything about her sinus's hurting or her head hurting.

My 17 month old randomly puked (mostly bile and mucus) but was acting fine. After 3 days I took her in and she had sinus infection. She had no other symptoms.

How is she?

Not to scare you, but didshe swallow anything she shouldn't have? She could have something stuck in her esophagus. I see that quites a bit with people who have esophageal stricture.

She did complain of a headache and has had a bit of a cold. I am positive she has not swallowed anything, she is beyond that now. Today she woke up nauseated, but did not throw up ( she said she felt like she had too) and went off to a birthday party fine.
