My sugar is already out-of-whack. . I know I'm insulin resistant, but I've always been able to control it with diet and exercise. I'm easily 108 in the mornings if I don't reallllly watch dinner AND make sure to eat protein right before bed. And I'm not even 5-weeks yet! I'm nervous and scared. My VBAC baby came at 42-weeks. I can't easily be induced early due to a previous c-section. Praying I keep these sugars under control.

I usually lose 40-some pounds during pregnancy, thanks to HG, so I purposely gained 15 before getting pregnant. Doesn't look like that was the best idea. I've since lost a little over 5-pounds. Hopefully, dropping the other 10 will be beneficial in my numbers.

Actually, as long add you are 2 years or more out from your c-section you can be induced, if needed, you just have to find a Dr that is comfortable with it. I will be having my third full term Vba2c, my last was born at 41.5 Weeks, if I go past 40 this time induction will likely be on the table for medical reasons. Have you tried the Brewer diet for controlling your sugar?

It looks like I've got/am getting it under control. I'll give it a couple more weeks. I went with an out-of-the-box, risk taking OB last time, but I left at 41+ weeks when I found he was losing his license. Some very bad things had happened to his patients by his negligence and risk taking. This time I will err on the side of caution.
