What's for dinner?

What are you making tonight? What's your favorite quick and healthy dinner?

Not quick and how healthy depends on if you think wheat is an unhealthy addictive food.

I am thinking of making spaghetti with garlic bread.

I'm making either lentil soup or mashed potatoes and kale haven't decided which yet. Whichever I don't make will be dinner tomorrow night.

I've got a bunch of sourdough starter to use up so we are having tuna patty sandwiches on homemade sourdough rolls with tartar sauce, lettuce, onion, and tomato and baked beans (which I canned in October) and coleslaw on the side. Then after, we'll have sourdough chocolate cake for dessert.

Re: What's for dinner?

SOUP! It's a staple in our house. I have a perpetual pot of bone broth that simmers along all the time. To make a soup, I just take some ground beef from our cow we processed, out of the freezer the night before, strain off some of the bone broth, and use whatever veggies I have in the fridge plus maybe some brown rice, quinoa, or spelt pasta thrown in. Oh yeah, and a jar of home canned tomato sauce and lots of spices and good sea salt. Favorite spices/herbs are rosemary, thyme, bay leaf, cayenne, LOADS of garlic and onions.
