How much Dawn do you use & how often?

I've asked this before with no answer- does anyone know if AJAX can be used in leui of dawn????

I use dawn everywash...only dawn. 1 good squirt. No ripey dipeys here!

I can't find "regular" dawn here only ultra. I did find regular palmolive which I've seen a few people here use and well, my dipes didn't come out fresh....although I"m not sure if it's because I line dried them. What's wrong with ultra?

I found new scented "regular" dawn at my local dollar general. I got the apple scent. I use about 1-2tsp each load with booster.

But how do you deal with all the suds? I use MAYBE 1/2 tsp and did 6 rinses and the water still had a few bubbles on top. Perhaps due to our hard water?

I live in a city with hard water...hard water that leaves build up on everything, tubs, dishes in the dishwasher, appliances that use water. Everyone here has a water softener installed and we just have to add the crystals to it every so often.

We never use Dawn here anymore because DH was having rash issues that I think were linked to it (Dawn can leave buildup, and my hard water doesn't agree with it), so I won't risk using it again.

I just started using it every wash instead of Tide about 2 weeks ago. NO MORE STINKY DIPES!!! It's my savior!
