Re: what to pack in lunch?
I try to limit the carbs in DH lunch... So we dont do crackers/chips/grains.
To make things easy for me I do a hard boiled egg or low fat cheese stick. Both have lots of protein and are grain free which will keep their blood sugar regular, reducing the 'crashing' affect and then starving! If it is in the budget I do no sugar plain greek yogart mixed with apple sauce.
So, those were my 'dairy/protein' sides and then he gets a main dish (leftover/sandwich) and a baggie of raw veggies (radishes, broccoli and carrots). I pre-make the veggies in baggies so they can be grabbed and thrown in.
If I feel nice maybe some nuts or a piece of fruit
