I think the most unusual place I've nursed was in a hot pink dressing room in victoria secrets!

Not really cool I guess but I nursed in the sound booth at a church we were visiting (we knew the people though). Some pple saw me later and just thought he was sleeping. I had him partially covered though.

mmm, hard to say - maybe at the library with an interested young teenage boy trying to sneak a peek! LOL

I've nursed Isaac while giving labor support at 2 different births. The MT was easier than the pouch for that task for sure.

The 2 coolest though:

Lake Tahoe 2003 with dd at 13-20 days old. Riding in a boat around the Lake. It's a 5 hours trip and dd was either attached or sleeping the whole time. Not a nursing pic, but amazing nonetheless

And here is dd on the drive home from Tahoe at 20 days old.

Then again in 2006 with Isaac. Here's a self portrait, since as you know, no one takes pics of Mommy (yes, he's nursing here)

Nursing on a speedboat is a VERY interesting experience....it takes some good muscle control to not feel like the nipple is being ripped off.

#2 was in the cockpit of a KC-135. DH was giving us a tour before the planes got sent to other bases (they closed the base here in Portland). No one but family was around, but it was still way cool. Eh, I even have a pic
Very cool! Where do you live? We are in Chico and got married at North Tahoe!

Tara

Re: What is the coolest place you have nursed?

I guess the "coolest" place I've nursed DS was in Union Square in San Francisco... hey man, babies gotta eat! I think he was 4 months old because I was home visiting... my poor mother wanted to run away because I refused to cover up... lol....

We live in Washington State. My dh's family gets together at Tahoe for 1 week every other year. I LOVE it there, it's just amazing!

A couple members of his family lived in Chico last year, but they just moved to Discovery Bay.

I have only ever bf at home and at family's houses but just yesterday I nursed at the play area at the mall. There was a ton of people there too but hey he had to eat!! One lady gave me a very nice smile. Then a few minutes later I saw her nursing her dd!!
