I haven't done Disney but taken a few cruises before. I'm sure lulu will have fun with anything she does. Is there princess breakfasts?

Re: Decision has been made - DISNEY CRUSE!

My partner and I took our first Disney Cruise in December 2013. We were on the Disney Magic, left out of Miami, and went to Castaway Cay and Key West. We had an amazing time. We didn't have a child at the time...however we now have a 4mo old that we can't wait to bring on the Disney Cruise. We are hoping to go sometime in 2015. Let me know how I can help!

We love cruising Disney. You get the best rates if booking late(IGT, OGT, or VGT), or early when each new schedule is first released. It's probably best to first put your priorities into order of importance (port, itinerary, how many nights, dates, which ship) and search for cruises based on your most important category first. You just need to decide what matters most - where you're going, what ship you're traveling on, do you prefer more days at sea or stopping at more ports of call, do you need to start & end at a particular port, etc....

PassPorters provides great general information & is the most active chat forum for more detailed info.

Once you have narrowed down your plans (such as knowing you're looking for a 7 night Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy out of Port Canaveral) it's very easy to find past Personal Navigators that will provide you with a schedule of all ship activities for each day to plan from.

It's best to get pass ports & and request any misplaced birth certificates early so these little things won't cause stress as your cruise dates approach. Pass ports are not necessary for closed loop cruises that start & stop at the same American port, but relieve much stress if an emergency arises while you're out to sea or on foreign soil. Also be aware that there are cut off dates pertaining to cruising pregnant.

Awesome!! Have not done this. DH wants to do the thing where you stay on-site at Disney though. We've been a few times on our own but the next time he wants to pay the money and get all the insider perks.
