Please help fast

Ok I am 19.5 weeks with baby #4. Had an ultrasound last week. Baby looked awesome.
In the last 45 minutes or so I have had this pain in my lower abdomen. Like beginning on the lower part of the baby bump stretching on down. It's a sharp constant pain. It is not round ligament pain.
I felt baby move around all day right up until a couple hours ago. I'm pretty sure she is fine but reassure me???? What is this awful stretching pain? Strange place for it to be...

How concerned are you? If you are really concerned go in and get checked. I was told to bypass the ER and head straight to labor and delivery. If you are just nervous eat or drink some sugar and do a kick count. The sugar should wake him up to make him move.

My hospital is an hour away so I'm trying to make sure it's not just me being paranoid. I am laying down and drinking water. I will try sugar. Maybe I have just been on my feet too long... Going to wait a little longer...

Ok just talked to labor and delivery... They said to take Tylenol and a warm bath. Lay down for another 30 minutes to an hour and call them back.

I had so much horrible cramping with my fourth. Your body gets really worn down with each pregnancy. When I couldn't feel baby 3 moving, they said to drink a Mt. dew and then lay down on my left side for an hour.

Oh man... I know what you mean about your body getting worn down. I cannot even do half the things I usually do while pregnant. I am also older now too!!

Re: Please help fast

Ok... After the Tylenol, bath and laying down some more and a good meal, the pain has all but quit. I think I am dehydrated. Still a few twinges but Baby is fluttering around happily. I am still sore all over so going to guzzle more water and go to bed. Thank you all who responded so quickly. I am grateful for the concern and help. Even though this isn't my first rodeo, I guess no one is immune to fear.
Thanks again.
