Cool What to impress?

If you really wanted to show off the prettiness of cloth diapering, what would you get?

My parents and siblings only see my kids like once or twice a year, cuz we all live many states away from eachother. My mom just told me a couple days ago that they are coming to see us at the end of this month, cuz we can't go see them. (It is a long story...but has to do with money. ) My mom cloth diapered my brother when I was younger with the like gerber prefolds and nylon covers , so I really want to knock her socks off with my cloth diapers. I need something really nice.

I was trying to find an Ahmay set in 12-18 month or 18-24 month, but keep missing them. What else should I think about or try for?

Thanks!!

Re: What to impress?

I think anything wool is great to show off. Or, how about something embroidered? I got some awesome Bottombumpers embroidered AIO's.

Re: What to impress?

My MIL was astounded and enthralled by pockets and AIOs for starters - because she did the prefolds/nylon covers on DH.

So when we visit the prefolds will only be the stuffins
She seems to adore my HH prints for some reason, but snubs the embroidered FBs, lol. wool longies always makes her coo as well

Re: What to impress?

Honestly, I am pretty simple. I have been dreaming of a minkee cover (or AIO) with embroidery. I see so many gorgeous ones on fsot, but can't bring myself to spend over $10 on a dipe ($8 for a single dipe is my highest so far). So, I got some red minkee at Joann's yesterday and am going to have it embroidered locally and we will see! Anyway, I think the minkee w/embroidery are an eyecatching way to say "cloth diapering is cool"!
