I would get

1 dozen premie prefolds (can be used as doublers etc later)
1 dozen newborn prefolds www.greenmountaindiapers.com
1 dozen infant prefolds
3-4 more covers/wraps
A wet bag or 2
Baby wash and a few wash clothes/ hooded towel
I second the vibrating bouncy seat! that WAS a lifesaver!! so you can shower and my son had reflux so it helped him sleep better
what about a breast pump or a few bottles (depending on how you plan to feed your baby)

**If you are Breast feeding*** Lansinoh creama nd breast pads for you and a good nursing bra or 2

I KNOW you want to have most of the baby things bought for you at your shower, but If the shower is not till LO is 1 month old you will need some things in the first few weeks to make life a lot easier

Oh and I almost forgot! freezer meals! for when you don't feel like cooking
