Step by step instructions for rewateproofing

I need help. I have 3 anglewrap diapers and on baby softwrap that need to be rewaterproofed but I don't know how. I bought the spary but what about the snaps and the velcro and the fleece on the legs. Do I just spray it all or do I have to avoid that stuff. Or do I spray the inside and not the outside. HELP

Spray the fabric on the outside only. Let it airdry. Once it's dry, give it a lil time in the dryer to seal it all in

it depends on what spray you got. did you get the waterbased? or the silicon kind? i believe the silicon would go on the shiney side of pul, not sure though. the water based (what i've used) goes on the outside fabric. after washing when they're still wet, spray the fabric, i tend to concentrate just around the legs and any where leaking or wicking was happening. i then fasten the diaper or cover inside out (so that the waterproofing doesn't get on the fleece or suedecloth of any other diapers), and throw them in the dryer. that's it!

the two waterbased i know of are granger's g-line (i got it in person at cabela's) and permanent water gaurd by atsko. you can find them online if you search. they don't stink at all, and dont' change the appearance or feel of the fabric.

Is it bad to use one that is silicone based? That's what they had at my Wal-mart.
What other stores could I buy it at locally. I'd rather not buy it online since I want/need it right away.

You don't spray it on the already waterproofed PUL side, you spray it on the fabric side to make it waterproof against wicking. I use the silicone one and I spray the fabric outside, let it dry, then dry it for a while to cure it. Even after it dries outside and before it goes into the drier, the smell is all gone.

So.. using Silicone-based spray is okay to use on the outside of say, an AIO? My WM only had "Silcone Water-Guard" with the orange cap. I've got a whole lot of rewaterproofing to get done soon. The outside is flannel with a hidden layer of PUL. Would this silcone stuff work?

I use that same stuff with the orange cap. I spray the fabric before I sew it to the rest of the diaper fabrics so I don't risk spraying the lining, but I'm sure you can do it and just be very careful. I do a spot check once it has been cured by pouring water on it. Any spots that look dark are areas that were saturated and need to be resprayed.
