Re: What's for dinner?

Scrambled eggs, biscuits, and salad. Easy and fast.

Re: What's for dinner?

It ended up being pork so I sauteed that with peppers and onions.

Ground meat something or other for tonight.

I need to meal plan.

Re: What's for dinner?

My meal planning has gone down the drain lately. Most of it has to do with the fact that I thaw/plan something but by dinner time it no longer sounds the least bit appetizing (thank you pregnancy).

Re: What's for dinner?

I didn't set out meat so I am thinking macaroni (the homemade kind) or fettuccine alfredo with salad and some other type of veggie.

Transitioning from winter type meals to summer type meals always throws off my meal planning! I did really good last week and this week is just kind of a mess.

Re: What's for dinner?

I made my version of homemade hamburger helper tonight. It was delicious. Makes up for takeout last night.

I love it and I'm adding it to our meal rotation.

Looks yummy.

I do think the season change is throwing my meal rotation off. I want to grill more but it seems to rain every time it's close to dinner.

I'm also following THM (Trim Healthy Mama) to some degree and that's a whole other level of complication.

I am waiting for DS1 to go to his bio mom's next week before I dive into THM recipes only because he is very opinionated like having Gordon Ramsey in your kitchen and I want to try recipes without an 11 yr old telling me how gross they are lol usually he likes most everything I make but new recipes make me nervous.

They have all looked at the cookbook (they read all the cookbooks and cooking magazines) and they haven't said gross except for some recipes requiring mayo which they dislike. I made pizza from fermented dough(off some thm blog) and dh loved that.

Dh liked the zoodle (zuchnni cut like spaghetti) idea if he could have it on top of his regular pasta. Lol!

So I think I'm going to have to modify and not follow exactly for everyone's dinner.

It's kind of confusing but I read there is a learning curve to it.

I am slowly creating a Pinterest board for it when I see a recipe I think everyone would like. Some of them I think will be big hits I just haven't jumped in yet.
