My dd is 6 months old and all of a sudden my nipples feel bruised oh they hurt so badly. I
m just "taking the pain" so she is still nursing, but ouch.... anyone else have this happen to them? do you know why it happened? will it pass??

This happened to me sort of. It wasnt my nipple really, it was the part of my areola right before my nipple. Im still not sure why it happened but it was right after I had a clogged duct on that side as well. It went away after three days or so.

Only in the very beginning and when I am pg. Maybe it is a hormonal thing?
