Diaper Swappers

Do have leaking problems with the snap version? I just got a supply of snap and velcro HP's. We've had no leaks with the velcro ones even overnight (13hours!) but the snaps leak after only 3-4. Anyone else have this problem or suggestions on how to fix it? Do I just need to stuff them more? Thanks!

I love HPs and haven't had a leak. Since velcro has infinite possibilities for getting the fit just right, I'm betting your dd is between snap sizes.

I used to use Wonderoos (same design as far as I can tell) on my super heavy wetter 3 yo (at the time) and never had a leak w/ the double snapped insert. So I can't imagine it's an insert issue. However, there was a month or so when they didn't fit my dd--one setting was too tight and the other was too loose.

I hope you're able to make it work--these seem like really great diapers!

The majority of my ( DS' )stash is made up of HP and we have never had a leak in either. I use both inserts with mine every time because DS is a heavy wetter.

I don't know what our problem is then..We tried them last night with both inserts and had a very wet bed this morning! My dh is getting frustrated since he's not seeing the benefit of switching to cd's if they're going to leak. Maybe I'll just use the snap ones during non-sleep times and save the velcro for sleeping. Thanks for the replies!

We have both - we've never had any leaks with either kind, but I have a harder time getting the snap verion to fit correctly. And my dd is a super soaker, too, so we always use both inserts.

Maybe your not snapping them tight enough around the legs and waist.
When a baby/toddler sleeps, their tummys shrink a little and it could be making the diaper a little lose cause the leaks.

We never have had leaks. A little wicking after a couple hours, but I think thats cause they are our out and about dipes and go longer then normal between changes. Plus we are only using the small insert on little bit.
