Re: If you use gDiapers....

My son is 15 months, 34in tall, and 24.5lbs and is currently in a large but could probably wear a medium. I think he is average size 19in waist, 11in thighs. They are a bit big though.

I am heading to a local shop today to pick up a starter pack.... I will get the larges.... I am really hoping to like them and plan on sewing up some inserts to match the flushables in size so I get a perfect fit wish me luck!

Eden is 33lbs, 39 inches tall, 11 inch thighs. The larges fit her just fine.

Caleb is 21 lbs. The mediums are perfect. If I buy more, I will get large.

so I wonder if the thighs will be an issue... Jonathan is 35" tall, 28lbs, and 13" thighs... other people mentioned their kiddos getting red marks...

I am going to try PF's for inserts but plan on making my own inserts

My DS is 28 pounds and 25 months and fits the larges well. They are on the smaller end of the size setting, but he outgrew the rise of the mediums months ago. And he's only in the 20th percentile for height for his age (33" high, I think. So I would def bet on the larges.

I have sewn many an insert for my gDipes and they work great. I prefer my bamboo flats at the moment. But I have bamboo trifolds as well.

GL! Hope they fit!

I love the nylon insert on these and just wash them by hand when soiled and hang to dry. Super quick and saves me from running the washing machine. Plus they drip dry so quickly they are usually good to use again later in the day.

Re: If you use gDiapers....

My almost 3yo Twins are 38in tall and weigh 30 and 31lbs with 15in rises. 1yo Asterix is 30in tall and weighs 28lbs with 18in rise. They all wear L gDiapers. The girls would probably also fit in M. The girls are PL so they only wear them at night on hot days when they’ve drank a lot and on long car trips. I put flats or hemp interests in them instead of the flushable liners. They work GREAT for us!! Very daddy friendly!!!

I think the red marks are from the aplix. I removed it and put snap strips on one cover and it doesn’t leave marks on DS. The others do part of the time. I prefer snaps so I’ll be converting all except one for DH to snaps.
