I just can't do it!

I keep saying to myself and everyone else I am not buying any more diapers I am not buying any more diapers. What do I do? I go and buy MORE diapers! I get rid of some thinking yeah we have too many (over 100) and then I go and buy more diapers! Ashton is almost 28 months so he doesn't "need" any more diapers as he has a ton and for the most part they all fit him. I have been trying to get rid of the ones getting too small in rise or just too tight. How in the world do you guys that are on the wagon STAY THERE?

I just find a new obession

Right now we are looking to buy a new house, so my internet time, and money are going into that

I just tell myself that if it isn't the most awesome diaper I can think of I don't really need it. Our stash is shrinking as opposed to growing, but I think that's because I keep selling stuff off and replacing every 2 or 3 diapers with 1 more expensive one.

I want to know how to get on the wagon and stay on the wagon! My ds will be potty training soon and yet I still buy him diapers... he doesnt *need* any more diapers! I just bought him 2 more last night and am heading out soon to go pick up some more at a local shop and that doesnt include all the diapers I have coming in the mail that I am waiting on from last week! (approx 6 I am waiting on plus 2 from last night and 4 I am buying today)
Add into that that I am building a stash for my little one that is due in December..... And I REALLY shouldnt be spending the money!

I use prefolds only, so I don't have the temptation to buy other diapers since I don't use them. That help a whole bunch, although I've nearly broken my resolve over PWP fleece AI2s because I love them.

I is so hard to stay on the wagon ..but i can do it because i have too..I am trying to find something to fit my DC right with Aplix ..but once i find it i guess i will be posted the rest of what i bought and will go back to the wagon...

ETA We have 100 diapers right now i just counted !!
and are waiting on 27 diapers to come in the mail !!! We will definitly be thining out the stash soon!!

The only thing that keeps me semi on the wagon is knowing my husband would be upset at the number of diapers I purchase. He said now that I have about 13, that if I wanted more I had to sell some of the other ones.. Plus with my limited funds, I try to save my paypal for items I really really want..

13? I would have a hard time getting through one day. How do you do it?

When my ds was tiny I used fitteds and prefolds with covers and I had 12 of each and about 6 covers. I washed every 2-3 days with that stash. At around 8 mos we switched to pockets and I had about 20 pockets and washed every 2-3 days.

So- if there was a new dipe I REALLY wanted I had to find one I was willing to sell first. You can get by with A LOT less than 100.
