Diaper bag diapers??

as of right now i have 8 (3 customs coming)

3 SB AIOs (applix)
1 Paisley Butterfly
1 Diapey AI2 w/2 extra snap in's
1 Clothmo

Seriously we arent gone long when we go anywhere plus we have a boatload of wool w/wool doublers that i can use.

so whats a reasonable amount??? we do need the applix ones for dad/grandma when the baby comes.

I have 10 Haute Pockets for outings, but often times I just pack prefolds (our dipe of choice at home.) I think I will be getting some fitteds soon (darn cute threads of dipes.... ) to put in the diaper bag, once little bit gets wiggly. However I only wash every 2 days, so if we are gone all weekend I don't have enough pockets. Normally, during the week I stay home except for a quick run to the grocery store, and we do major all day visiting on the weekends. So we don't really need very much. HTH

I throw 2 Nana's Bottoms AIOs in there. I also always have 2 sposies in there cause they don't take up any room and are there in a pinch when I underestimated our time away or T's potty habits.

I love AIOs for the diaper bag cause when you have to change while you are out, I can just throw the dirty duds in the wetbag without having to shake the insert out before or dig around in the nasties to do it at home when I go to empty it. When I have 2 in dipes in a month or so, I will probably add 3-4 AIOs for the newbie and 4 sposies for her...

My two BG 1.0 are my diaper bag diapers. I keep those in there because I rarely am out long enough to need to change his diaper, and I hate washing them.

I would think if your parents are going to be diapering him for a while after the baby comes, maybe get 4 more? How many diapers does he go through in a day?
